The Body Shop Spiced Vanilla Body Butter

Spiced Vanilla is as buttery and ultra-moisturizing as the other body butters from The Body Shop. This is limited-edition and is part of the holiday collection. The fragrance is somewhat similar to last year's Nutmeg and Vanilla. So, if you like that, this is worth trying out.

The scent seemed to be pretty mild in the tub, but goes on strong after applying. There is a strong vanilla smell and a hint of spice. Quite Yum!!!

Pros :

  • Moisturizes really well.
  • Priced reasonably.
  • Absorbs really very well and keeps skin moisturized for a very long time.
  • The fragrance lingers on for quite sometime.

Cons:

  • People with sensitive noses might want to avoid this. Some may find the fragrance to be too strong. I like it a lot, but I know I'll get bored of the smell after a while.
  • The tub-packaging.
  • Limited-edition.

It's worth checking out, imo. At least the small tub of body butter. The body scrub seems delish but, I am not sure if I'll get it since I have a ton of other scrubs waiting to be finished.

Have you tried anything from The Body Shop's holiday collection? Spiced Vanilla anyone?

  9. I always get the cranberry one during this time of the year... it's one of my faves! It's a shame they are only around this time of the year

  10. I somehow felt that this year's cranberry was not as exotic smelling as last year's...maybe that's just me! Even I wish they were around for longer :)

  13. I have, Spiced Vanilla smells wonderful. I just bought the lotion and lipbalm as well. I love all of it! I don't have to wear perfume since the scent of vanilla clings strongly onto my skin.

  17. Hi, I was gifted the Body shop spiced vanilla hand cream. I want to know if it can be substitutable for body butter, since I don't really need it for my hands...

  18. Hi Pearl,

I always switch my hand and body creams as long as they are not really thick and difficult to spread.I think it's fine as long as they're used only on the body and kept away from the face. Hope that helps! :)

  19. Yeah it sure did ! I haven't opened this one yet ... so what u r saying is that if it is thick and diff to spread, then I shld keep it for hands... else i can use for body, rite ?

  20. Yep, that's what I would do since, hand creams are always formulated to be thick and they might leave a film sometimes!

  21. Ok.. I got ur point. Its not very thick, but kinda thick but it spreads evenly and easily.. so i guess i can extend its use to body too !
