Guess what came in the mail today?

I finally got my ZOYA nail polishes that I ordered during their Facebook offer a couple of weeks back. So, here's what I chose. The three free nail colors are Marilyn, Harley and Meadow. I also ordered a bottle of their Remove + nail polish remover($9.99). I used it to remove my old nail polish and it did not stink. In fact, smells more herbal-ish. I am so glad! Detailed review coming soon!!!

Everything was packed beautifully. There were nail color plates of some previous collections and also the Spring 2011 collection. I had some problems while ordering and the customer service was really polite and helpful. That really impressed me.

L-R : Harley, Marilyn, Meadow
Will do NOTDs with these soon! If you took advantage of this offer, I'd love to know what colors you picked :-)

  9. Hi :) This is a bit unrelated but you mentioned you couldn't get Siahi. I'd recommend picking it up off e-bay.. that's what a lot of us in Europe do. It's about 5-6 dollars more expensive, but it's really worth it because the jar has so much product.

    Good luck :)

  10. Oh, I forgot to add I saw a beutiful photograph on a makeup forum where a girl layered MAC Club eyeshadow on top of Siahi. I'm not sure if you've heard about Club - but it's one of those eyeshadows that is duocrome (green-ish on one angle, bronze-ish from another angle). It's quite tricky to get the green shade of Club to be visible - but it's possible with Siahi. So another reason to pick it up :)

  11. Hey Fieran,

So nice of you to drop by and give me the details :)Thanks! I've been eyeing club for a while now and I might get it if at all I am lucky enough to get Siahi :) I am gonna try e-bay today. I wanna pick up the color corrector as well. What other stuff are u planning to get?

  12. I got a friend to pick up Siahi and Oomph for me. I kind of am kicking myself for not getting Saffron and Rani now that I've seen some cool swatches. But I need to stop buying so much makeup - the past month, I've been resisting - and the lack of guilt is a nice, calm feeling :) I did get the bf to pick up an Inglot palette for me while he was traveling. You can't get Inglot in Norway ... I am hoping to blog about the Inglot palette one of these days :)

I am going on vacation mid next month - hope to pick up some stuff then maybe. Might stop by the MAC Pro store... :) Otherwise not buying anything for now. Trying to mix and match my existing stuff (hence the Club + Siahi).

  13. "the lack of guilt is a nice, calm feeling " - I totally get that! I try to be on a makeup ban once in a while and it lasts nothing more than 2 weeks :( I am yet to try anything from Inglot. I might pick up something when I go to India...Will wait for ur palette review as well.Been wanting to try their eye shadows and lip paints :)
