Like any other primer, I use this over my moisturizer and under makeup. It is a silicon based primer so, it fills in any lines and pores and helps even out skin texture. It does form a silky veil which is a problem I have with a lot of primers, that would eventually lead to itching since I have sensitive skin. With this one, I did not have any itching but, if you have oily skin, do keep in mind that it does contain olive oil so, it may not give you a matte finish. I do not have a problem with that since I'm not too keen on my face looking matte. I love the short ingredients list and the fact that is it fragrance-free and paraben-free. With this primer underneath, my makeup stays put for a good 7 hours and my cream blush does not move either. If you are going to be out in the sun, it may stay on for an hour or two lesser. Reviva Labs suggests using this as an eye primer too but, it works better as a face primer on me, especially in this weather when my eye makeup creases more than usual.
Inspite of the 'cone, this did not give me breakouts of any sort which I'm very happy about and neither did it dry my skin out which again, is a huge plus. Overall, you would like it if you have dry skin & I would recommend this over a good moisturizer to keep your makeup in place. If you have oily skin, keep in mind that it is not oil-free.
