The Smoky Kohl Eyeliner($12) is a fairly new addition to the Sephora Collection. Packaged like a traditional Indian Kajal, it comes in six shades. Remember The Body Shop's colored Kohls from last fall that never launched in the US? If you've been wanting to try those and never could, this maybe a good alternative.
I picked up mine in "Grey". They do have a bronzy brown that looked gorgeous as a swatch but, I wasn't too sure if it would show up on my eyes. There are a couple of fun colors like lilac and blue to choose from too. I love the retractable packaging and the consistency of the kohl. It goes on smooth and smudges out evenly whether you use a pencil brush or fingers. 'Grey' is a slightly metallic, smokey dark grey with a beautiful sheen that I use along my lash lines alone or over a black eye liner. With UDPP as a base, it stays put as an eyeshadow for a few hours. Without a base, it does tend to smudge but that's the whole purpose of this kohl and I don't have a problem with it smudging if that makes it look more natural. The lasting power is average, about 4 hours and adheres well to my waterline too!
