Korres Cheek Butter in Chara Crimson

"An extension to Korres’ iconic Lip Butter, Cheek Butters deliver a radiant and hydrating flush of long-lasting color to your complexion. Natural Shea Butter restores skin’s suppleness and increases moisture while guava extract, rich in vitamin C, provides antioxidant benefits. Whether worn alone, under powder blush, or combined to create a custom color, the result is a luminous glow that lasts."

The Korres Cheek Butters($25) come in three shades, Chara Crimson being the deepest & perfect for medium/dark skin tones. It is a deep berry pink with just teeny tiny shimmer that doesn't show up at all on cheeks. Since I am very tan right now, Chara Crimson is just perfect for a hint of color. You can build up the color for a natural looking flush. The Cheek Butter has a creamy texture but, not so much that it melts during the hot weather. On dry skin, it takes a while to blend but has the perfect finish once blended. I like to use my fingers but if you don't, a flat foundation brush works best. I also love to use this under any sheer powder blush for a pop of color. Since it blends to a semi-matte finish, it has pretty good staying power for a cream blush and doesn't travel all over the place even when the weather is really hot.

Overall, although these cheek butters don't have the most butteriest texture, they still manage to work really well without being too greasy. They don't have a heavy feel either, which makes them perfect for use any time of the year. At the moment, there are only three shades but, I wish Korres expands the shade selection in the future.

Korres Cheek Butters are formulated without any Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances, Synthetic Dyes & Petrochemicals.

Available at all Sephora stores & online at sephora.com
