La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Daily Anti-Aging Primer with Sunscreen

La Roche-Posay's Daily Anti-Aging Primer ($39.50) is a skin transforming primer with sunscreen that blurs fine liners, large pores while protecting from UVA/UVB rays. Within few minutes of application, the skin transforming primer claims to correct and improves the signs of aging for all skin types.

Packaged in a convenient squeeze tube form, the primer has a fairly thick consistency, so you only need a very tiny amount. The texture has a slip that comes with most silicone-based products. It doesn't feel heavy or waxy and absorbs quite fast leaving a light veil. I did notice that it instantly diminishes large pores and fills in tiny fine lines. If you tend to have dry skin, be sure to moisturize really well beforehand. Also since it comes with sunscreen, it does have a very strong smell that most sunscreens have and takes a while to fade.

I absolutely love it as a primer beneath makeup since it creates a beautiful, flawless canvas. It holds makeup in place really well too. After about 4-5 hours, my foundation and blush looked just as fresh as it was when applied. I haven't used it enough to see any improvement in signs of aging or on blemishes and dark spots but, as a primer, it does just what it says and does a good job without irritating my skin or breaking me out. The added sunscreen and the anti-oxidant complex is a nice little bonus if you like multi-tasking products.

Anthelios 50 Daily Anti-Aging Primer with Sunscreen is oil-free, fragrance-free and paraben-free and perfect for use even on sensitive skin.

Available at select CVS/pharmacy, Ulta, Walgreens and Duane Reade locations, and online at www.laroche-posay.us
