LUSH Love Lettuce Fresh Face Mask

Love Lettuce ($6.95) is an exfoliating, deep cleansing mask that  balances and nourishes dull skin. Made with Almonds, Kaolin Clay and Honey, Love Lettuce is very effective in drawing out impurities from clogged pores without drying skin out too much.

Texture wise, it is quite gritty but very easy to spread. The fresh green mask is quite strong at polishing away dry skin so if you have extremely sensitive skin and redness, I wouldn't recommend using it. It also dries pretty fast, so ten minutes is all you need with this mask. Wash off by gently scrubbing it away with warm water or a wash cloth. I usually finish off with a few splashes of cold water. Love Lettuce gets rid of any dead skin cells and impurities because of which pores look smaller and skin more refined.

Ingredients : Agar Agar Gel , Kaolin , Honey (Mel) , Fullers Earth , Glycerine , Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis) , Ground Almond Shells (Prunus dulcis) , Ground Almonds (Prunus dulcis) , Lavender Oil (Lavandula augustifolia) , Chlorophyllin , *Geraniol , *Limonene , *Linalool , Perfume

Overall, it is a pretty good exfoliating mask that polishes and balances without too much dryness. This time of the year my skin is pretty dry even after using the gentlest of cleansers so, I follow up with a moisturizer. But, if you tend to have pretty oily skin, you probably won't find it so drying. The Fresh Face Masks are usually good for a few days after their stated expiry dates but this one expires faster, so a lot of it goes unused. That being said, it is one of the nicest masks LUSH makes, something I reach out to when my skin feels dull and lifeless. It does the job quickly and effectively.

Have you tried Love Lettuce Fresh Face Mask by LUSH?
