bareMinerals Holiday 2012 - Seize The Day Round The Clock Waterproof Eyeliner Set

Seize The Day ($29), is a value set for the holidays from bareMinerals featuring five Round The Clock eyeliners in matte and metallic finishes. The set comes with four mini liners in 10AM (Golden Sage), Noon (Deep Navy), 1PM(Deep Marine), 3PM(Dark Metallic Brown) and  a full size liner in 5PM(Dark Matte Plum).

L-R : Noon, 10AM, 5PM (full-size), 3PM, 1PM.

The selection of colors in here are fabulous and work well just alone on the lash line with some mascara. The eyeliners go on smooth, have a soft texture and don't tug or pull. The color payoff is amazing and one swipe deposits rich, dark color. Like most long wear liners, this one too gives you a few seconds to smudge the color out before it sets. However, on my waterline, I found them to be slightly irritating and itchy. They do adhere well initially, but if you have sensitive eyes, I wouldn't recommend for the waterline. On the lash lines, they last a good 7-8 hours without smudging or smearing. All of them are waterproof and need a good oil-based remover at the end of the day to completely take off.

L-R : 5PM, 1PM, Noon, 3PM, 10AM

Overall, if you tend to wear a lot of black based, darker colors, Seize The Day is a pretty amazing value set with five fabulous colors. The caps on these shut extremely tight, which in turn snapped off a portion of the tip of a couple of liners when I opened. That aside, they are really good liners and come with a handy sharpener included.

  1. I purchased these and have many other BM liners. As you said, you really do need to shut the cap tightly. Otherwise they dry out very quickly. I also find that if you get any residue eyeshadow on them, they refuse to glide on the eye. Does anyone else have this problem?
