Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum

The Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum has been a real savior this winter for my dry/sensitive skin! I've tried quite a lot of hydrating serums and this has got to be my favorite of them all.

Packaged in a glass bottle, the Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum is oil-free and packs a lot of good for your skin ingredients to hydrate and nourish. It has a rather thin consistency, very easy to spread and absorbs super fast without any residue. I only need a pump or maybe even lesser for my face and neck.

Ingredients : Water, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Water*, Glycerin*, Butylene Glycol*, Ethylhexyl Palmitate*, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Dimethicone, Palmitoyl Grape Seed Extract*, Caprylyl Glycol, Parfum (Fragrance), Squalane*, Potassium Sorbate, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Juice*, Sodium Benzoate, Xanthan Gum, Sorbitan Oleate*, Sodium Carboxymethyl Betaglucan, Citric Acid, Sorbitan Laurate*, Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Phytate*, Disodium Acetyl Glucosamine Phosphate, Myristyl Malate Phosphonic Acid. *Origine végétale - plant origin.

The scent is very soothing, not one bit overpowering, just like it is with other Caudalie products. If you have dry skin, you would still need a good moisturizer on top, but layering this beneath has probably been the best thing I've done to cure my dry patches and rough spots. I've been using it pretty regularly for the past 2-3 months and I absolutely love how supple my skin feels on days I use it and can definitely see a visible difference on days I don't. If your skin tends to be on the oilier side, you could even skip using a moisturizer in summer. It contains Dimethicone, but lacks that "slip" and the slick feeling that a lot of silicone based products tend to have have. The bottle doesn't have a lot of product - 1 oz is what you get for $48, which is the only problem I have with this one. That aside, it is fantastic for dry/sensitive skin or for just about anyone with dehydrated skin in need of a good moisture boost!

Available at Sephora, Nordstrom and online at sephora.com and shop.nordstrom.com
