GUESS Girl (3.4 fl oz./$52), is a feminine, flirty floral and one of the brand's new launches for Spring. The bottle, designed playfully in pink, features a vibrant fuchsia ribbon wrapped around like a flower on the cap. GUESS describes the perfume as a "youthful, easy to wear, flirty floral."
I was expecting Guess Girl to be an extremely sweet, very youthful scent, but it comes off as a strong fruity floral to me, that may appeal to a lot of age groups, which is a good thing since I do prefer slightly more grown up scents. Vanilla being one of the base notes, there's quite a bit of sweetness to the mix, but it doesn't come off as extremely cloying. I do find it to be a tad too strong for an EDT - I ended up spritzing on a little too much the first time around and was surprised at how extremely strong it went on and most importantly, how well it stayed on, almost until the end of the day!
That being said, it is a really nice floral, perfect for while transitioning into spring, when you want something more casual and feminine. I would prefer something a little more lighter in the summer though. The bottle design may not be the most unique, but it sure does sit pretty on your vanity. If you like strong, very feminine, long lasting scents this time of the year, Guess Girl is worth splurging on. Take a whiff next time you are around a perfume counter!
