7 Beautiful Blushes I'm Loving This Spring!

Some of my most used blushes that I absolutely love this time of the year. These are what I've been reaching out to the most, lately. Most of these work quite well on medium/dark skin tones and are perfect for Spring when you want a light, natural flush! Products marked with * denote press samples; Becca received as part of a Beautyfix box package. All swatch pictures can be clicked to enlarge for better view.

Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Calypso Coral ($25) - Bright, pinky coral with a super easy, cream formula. The color sheers out quite a bit on the cheeks and adds a beautiful flush of color. The formula is not sticky, but good enough to be worn as a base for most powder blushes.

MAC Powder Blush in Fleur Power ($21) - Soft peachy pink with no hint of shimmer/glitter. It is a satin finish and I absolutely love the formula - there's the perfect amount of pigment that you can just effortlessly swipe and go!

The Body Shop All in One Blusher in Bubblegum ($16*) - Bubblegum is a very cool-toned, matte pink - not a color I'd normally go for. I received this sometime late last year and din't get to use it until now and I really love the way it turns up on me. The texture is beautiful, smooth and lasts all day!

Becca Beach Tint in Watermelon ($25) - I love the water based  gel-like texture that works on lips and cheeks. I prefer using this on my cheeks though. A very little amount is all you need with these beach tints. The color is concentrated and Watermelon blends to a vivid pink that is flattering on a lot of skin tones!

Burberry Light Glow Natural Blush in Coral Pink ($42) - A very pigmented, bright pink that I would use all through spring and summer! Burberry's blushes have some of the best formulas, a super finely milled texture and last really long without getting patchy. Coral Pink is a must-have for spring/summer and especially flattering on medium/dark skintones.

Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Candy Glow ($29*) - I still can't stop admiring the gorgeous packaging of this blush! It is a tad shimmery, but doubles greatly as a blush/highlighter and adds a lovely sheen. Just swirl the brush in, swipe and go! There's not much fallout and it doesn't emphasize pores for a shimmery blush like this one. Absolutely love it!

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed ($25) - Exposed is something I'd reach for all year long. It is a soft, nude pink and a very versatile shade, perfect for everyday wear or to work. It adds a very naturally sculpted look and the formula of these Tarte blushes in general, are super long-wearing!

What are some of your most worn blushes this Spring?

  1. I really like ELF Studio blush in Berry Merry and NARS Dolce Vita. Both are great soft rose shades for tanned skin. Another favorite is Revlon Mineral blush in Honey. It's almost foolproof.

    2. Maybe you could try Dolce Vita with a fan brush? That's how I apply it. and I tap off most of it before I apply. It sheers out nicely when I use that technique.

    4. I did, it still looks too red on me...the color is just so pretty in the pan. I love Lovejoy which is very pigmented as well, but somehow Dolce Vita looks too clown-y on me. I'll probably try it again since so many people rave about that one!

    1. You're welcome, Kristy! I'm around an NC40 now, but I tan quite a lot in the summer! Hope that helps!
