güd from Burt's Bees makes some amazing, affordable bath and body products! The latest addition to their line is the Red Ruby Groovy with Thyme and Grapefruit - very refreshing, zingy and perfect to have in your morning shower!
I got to try out the Natural Nourishing Shampoo ($6.99) and the Natural Body Wash ($6.99). The Natural Nourishing Shampoo is a slightly thick, fresh smelling shampoo for normal hair. It foams up pretty well and washes off clean, leaving behind a light, crisp scent that lasts a while. There's quite a bit of body, movement and shine too. It din't leave my scalp itchy or irritated which is nice. My only complaint with this shampoo is how it can build up a little overtime and leave hair a tad weighed down. Be sure to use a clarifying shampoo in between to get rid of any buildup.
The Body Wash is just perfect for a lazy morning - love the super fresh, citrusy scent too. The consistency is a tad runny, but you only need a little bit since it foams up well and washes off squeaky clean. It doesn't dry skin out too much and you won't need to follow up with a lotion especially in the summer! If there's one thing you need to pick up from the Red Ruby Groovy line by gud, its the Body Wash. I'm almost out of my first one and will be picking up another one once I'm done!
