L'Occitane Verbena Eau de Toilette

"This perennial favorite draws its inspiration from Provençal markets, where the freshly picked green leaves of verbena fill the air with their refreshing and lemony scent."

L'Occitane's Verbena ($42, 1.7Oz ; Press Sample) is a fresh citrus, enriched with organic Verbena Extract from Provence. Although sharp, clean citrus based fragrances are more of summer scents, I would love a spritz or two of Verbena just about any time of the year. Its an energizing, zesty scent that can get you through lazy mornings and the tartness from the lemon keeps it fresh, light and extremely refreshing. Its not too sweet or extremely feminine, the right balance makes it a nice unisex fragrance. I just wish it lasted longer on me though - I get about 4-5 hours after which most of it is gone. That said, it definitely is one of my favorite citrus based scents and a must have if you are a citus lover.

What are your thoughts on L'Occitane's Verbena EDT?

  1. While I love L'Occitane in general, I though this stuff smelled a little like lemon pledge.
