Josie Maran Bear Naked Nail Wipes

I picked up the Josie Maran Bear Naked Nail Wipes ($9-$16) a while back at Sephora, mainly to travel with. Seemed like an easy solution than to carry nail polish remover and cotton rounds around. I quite like ELF's version of the nail polish wipes, but those are no where to be found at my local Target, so I picked up a travel size of the Josie Maran one from the evil checkout bins at Sephora.

The small pack comes with 20 wipes, enriched with Argan Oil and claims to remove polish from all ten fingers with just one pad. Its not the most saturated and each wipe is quite thin, so I kept my expectations low. Surprisingly, it removes creme polish really well - just one wipe for all 10 fingers was enough. It took a little longer than it would with a regular polish remover like Zoya Remove +, but it also left my nail beds nourished and quite moisturized. With glitter polish, I needed a couple of pads - my nails are always quite short, so if your nails are longer you might need more. It also leaves behind a light citrusy scent - its nothing special, slightly plasticky, but its gone in a few minutes. Overall, its definitely not a dud, but its not super duper quick either - its much more effective for cremes and I like how it doesn't dry out my nails and cuticles.

Have you tried the Josie Maran Bear Naked Nail Wipes?

  1. haha evil checkout bins. I just realized i should probably try these, as I always have nasty 3+ week old chipped polish on, and this would be handy. Although I know i like the Deborah Lippman remover pads. HMMM
