Anastasia DipBrow Pomade in Ebony and #12 Large Synthetic Duo Brush

Anastasia's new Dip Brow Pomade in Ebony ($18anastasiabeverlyhills.com) is a new launch from the brand that comes in five different shades to match just about any hair color - cool, light blondes to dark, rich browns and blacks. The product comes in a gel-liner like pot and works best when used with Anastasia's #12 Large Synthetic Duo Brush ($18; anastasiabeverlyhills.com). *Press Sample

Ebony, a dark brown black is the perfect shade for my super dark brows. It does not have any red undertones - just a tad bit of a mix of grey and taupe, perfect when you don't want to use something as stark as black. It is super creamy and pigmented - the #12 Angled Brush is perfect to fill in any sparse areas and since the product itself is very pigmented, it is quite easy to go overboard, but the spoolie on the other end helps remove any excess product for a much natural look. Dipbrow also doubles as a gel liner - the formula is super waterproof and does not budge once set. The #12 brush also makes for a great brush for winged liner. If you have already full, thick brows, the Dipbrow Pomade is a fantastic way of enhancing and making it look fuller, naturally. If you have sparse brows, I would recommend going light handed, but it still is an excellent product to shape and define without having to worry about touching up throughout the day. The #12 brush is also one of the best synthetic angled brushes I've tried so far - stiff enough to pick up product, still quite soft and easy to use.

    1. I know! I think MAC's Fludlines are a good option too. Dipdown is a brown I've seen a lot of people with dark hair use :)
