Perricone MD Chloro Plasma

A brand new launch from Perricone is the Chloro Plasma ($75; PerriconeMD.com), an anti-aging, detoxifying "green" mask, derived from Chloroplyll and packed with ingredients like Blue Green Algae, Sulforaphane (commonly found in superfoods like Broccoli and Watercress) and Alpha Lipoic Acid, to refine and exfoliate the skin surface. *Press Sample

Packged in a small-ish glass jar, the mask fatures micro capsules that break open upon contact with skin. To use, I just take a small amount, massage onto skin until the beads break open and turn the mask from a light green to a darker green in color. Its sort of a thick mask, so a little goes a long way. Its also super easy to spread and dries completely in 10-15 minutes. While it doesn't cake up like most clay masks do after they dry, I can still see it hardening overtime, until its completely dry to the touch, which is when I finally wash it off. I prefer to use a washcloth - everything comes off easily and leaves my skin super smooth, glowing and clean. As someone with dry, sensitive skin, I find this far less stripping and gentle on my skin than any other detox masks I've tried, but it can still be just a tad drying especially around the cheeks, so I'd definitely recommend a good moisturizer/oil/serum afterwards. If you are looking for a quick and easy mask to perk up your complexion, add some glow and leave it super clean, give Perricone's Chloro Plasma a try. Pricey, but definitely works!
