Lux, is one of three gorgeous matte, textured, holographic Magical PixieDust polishes as part of ZOYA's Spring'14 lineup. Lux is a mix of fine, large and holographic, multicolored glitter in a light, rosy pink base. *Press Sample
Like all PixieDust polishes, this one too dries to a matte finish. ZOYA recommends using it sans any topcoat for that extra textured effect. I did use a base coat though, and two coats of Lux. The color is gorgeous, but does turn up a lot less pink on the nail than it does in the bottle. It still is beautiful and looks fantastic as a topper too. I also like these glossy, with a top coat on, since these Magical Pixie's have some serious iridescent sparkle going on. Like most glitter polishes, it is a tad difficult to get off though. Overall, Lux is definitely one of the most prettiest among the Magical PixieDusts out for Spring and very beautiful as an accent shade too!
