Empties Part 1

I hardly ever do such ‘empties’ posts, mostly because I cannot stand the thought of hoarding empty containers/ beauty trash around the house long enough to accumulate for a post. I do plan on doing mini empties though, once there’s a sizable amount that I have tried, tested and emptied! So, here’s onto what I’ve recently finished up!

Empties Part 1

Deborah Lippmann Cuticle Remover  - One of the best, gentle cuticle treatments I’ve tried. It does not remove cuticles, rather softens them so they’re easy to push back! The scent is a little odd, and the dropper could be nicer, but overall a very good product I’ll be stocking up once the Sephora sale comes around.

Algenist Genius Cream - Loved this stuff! This was a small sample as part of a Sephora GWP. It has a unique texture and a light scent. I loved how soft and bright it made my skin. It is one hell of a pricey cream though, so I’m still deciding on whether on not to splurge on a full size. I do have many other moisturizers sitting unused too.

Jason Rosewater Body Wash - Gorgeously rose scented goodness! It is gentle, the huge pump bottle lasts absolutely ages. I usually get mine from Whole Foods, and have a new one waiting to be used already!

Nude Skincare Detox Brightening Fizzy Wash -  Small sample that lasted me two uses. Nice texture, easy to use - just add some water to the powder which turns into a paste and then apply, wash off. It did brighten my skin well, but nothing too groundbreaking. Won’t buy the full size, but was nice to use.

Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream - Great stuff, one of my favorites for maintaining nice looking cuticles. Very affordable and I already have a backup.

Alterna Bamboo Smooth Kendi Dry Oil Mist - Lightweight hair treatment to combat frizziness and add shine. I went through this full size one pretty fast. I have the oil version and will probably repurchase this one when I’m done with the oil. Nothing to complain at all, its a great product and very convenient to use.

bareMinerals Lash Domination Mascara - Had this for only a short while now and its super dry and flaky to use. Won’t repurchase since I have quite a few mascaras to use up. Its a nice mascara for natural looking lashes. It doesn’t flake or smudge much at all.

Lastly, its the L’Occitane Immortelle Divine Renewal 28 Day Program, which I reviewed yesterday. I finished this a while back and loved the whole experience. Read more and an in-depth review here.

  1. LOL I love empties posts though!!! That DL is seriously so so soooo good. I finally stopped trying others because they just don't quite stack up. Thanks for saving your 'trash' for us...hope there's more to come ha ha :-)

    1. hehe I may now be obsessed with collecting beauty trash! Seriously, that DL one is the best.. I used to use a Sally Hansen one before which was okay, but very harsh on the cuticles in the long run. Hopefully more empties to come..feels satisfying! :D :D
