Josie Maran Argan Enlightenment Illuminizing Veil

Josie Maran’s new Argan Enlightenment Collection features a gorgeous new Illuminizing Veil ($30; sephora.com) , a creamy powder that can be used as a highlighter or for an all over glow, enriched with skin conditioning Argan Oil. 

The product is fabulous in terms of texture and consistency - it is smooth, feels like cream to powder and blends beautifully. There’s absolutely no trace of chunky shimmer or glitter and the color is a slightly warm peach that flatters my complexion. I’ve tried using it as a highlighter and love the subtle, lit from within effect it gives. As an all over powder, I’d use it the same way as the Meteorites, with a little more of a light hand. On lighter skin tones, the color might look a little more blended in when used all over the face. The packaging is beautiful and luxurious, and the formula does not cling onto large pores and is quite forgiving even on my drier skin. Overall, if you like extremely natural looking highlighters that deliver more of a sheen than make you look like a disco ball, this one is for you. It is not that easy to go overboard, but I would still recommend a floppy brush to pick up the right amount of product.
