Shiseido has launched four new Shimmering Cream Eye Colors ($25; sephora.com), as part of their Spring/Summer’15 lineup, two of which I have here. These cream shadows are smooth, easy to apply with fingers or a flat brush and blend beautifully.
BR 727 is a stunning complex grey taupe with the slightest hint of green. The color is sheer in one swipe, but can be built up to a nice intensity. GR 125 is a shimmery olive with a touch of grey and looks best as a sheer wash on the lid. Both colors are gorgeous and wear better over a primer, but they also make for nice bases underneath powder shadows. I love Shiseido’s sleek packaging and both these colors are very beautiful on their own, look fabulous just paired with some liner and mascara for a quick and easy look! If you have very oily lids, just be sure to use them over a good primer for crease-free wear and minimal fading.
