Bite Beauty has launched two new collections exclusive to Sephora.com today (July 16th in-stores), the new Frozen Berries Matte Creme Limited Edition Lipstick collection and the Opal Creme Collection. The Opal Creme Collection features two products formulated with two-tone pearl,a creme lipstick and a creme lipgloss, both of which have a gorgeous iridescent multidimensional sheen and can be used over any lip color to add a stunning new finish.
The Opal Creme Lipstick ($24; sephora.com) goes on like a sheer lip color with a pearly finish. It looks lovely over darker colors and adds a gorgeous finish without too much shine. It also helps brighten dark colors a tad and makes matte shades look a little more interesting without too much shimmer or glitter. It is a weightless lipstick that layers beautifully. The Opal Creme Lipgloss ($22; sephora.com), is one I've tried over many lipsticks and absolutely love it on both darker and lighter colors. It pairs well with nudes, pinks and berries and adds a super glossy shine with a not too frosty, but iridescent finish. The overall look is very glossy and instantly brightens up any lip color. The texture can be a tad sticky, but the formula feels great on the lips and moisturizing. Both products from the Opal Creme Collection can be worn alone or layered, but for my skin tone, I prefer them both layered or paired with other lip colors for the actual finish of the products to come through.
