LUSH Blousey Shampoo

Its been a while since I tried anything Lush, their face masks are a quick pick-me up, but I find that they don’t do anything that beneficial to the skin in the long run. I find most of their shampoos stripping for me, but very recently picked up Blousey ($25.95; lushcosmeticsusa.com) , a gentler sulfate-based one for over processed, dry hair that is non-stripping.

Blousey is quite a task to use in the shower, the thick, chunky bits get a little messy, but the shampoo itself is really nice and quite a pampering one for dry hair. I do find that it lathers mildy, so I have since used up more than what I would with a regular shampoo. The scent is a tad overwhelming, but I quite like it and like how it lingers on for quite sometime. It is easy to wash off, does’t not dry out my hair and I do skip conditioner sometimes, even though this isn’t the best at detangling. If you do have a very oily scalp though, it can weigh hair down a little, but on dry hair, it is a great shampoo thats both gentle and non-stripping and one from Lush that I’ve actually really liked in a long time.
