Three new hand care products I’ve been using lately and quite loving. My hands, nails and cuticles are finally starting to get super dry and these three new additions in rotation have been working really well in keeping them soft and hydrated.
Korres Moisturizing Hand Cream With Almond Oil and Calendula ($14.50; sephora.com) is a fairly new launch from Korres and smells delicious. The scent can be a tad overwhelming for some, but it is a lovely hand cream for day and night and does the job without making hands too greasy. It does take a little more time than usual to absorb, but is great for this time of the year. Molton Brown’s Rhubarb and Rose Replenishing Hand Cream ($13.50; shop.nordstrom.com) is a great hand cream for the day, new to me but has been out for a while. I’ve had great luck with Molton Brown hand creams in the past too and while the scent can be a little too much sometimes, the formula is quick absorbing and the packaging is adorable. Lastly, there’s a fingernail mask called Nailtreat Mani by Look Beauty Moisture & Nourish Fingernail Mask ($9.99 for 4 treatments; Amazon.com). Its something you leave on for about 30-60 minutes and I find that it is moisturizing, but not a cure all for dry cuticles and nails. By the time I was done soaking my fingers in this masque, I din’t find too much of an essence to massage in, but following up with a hand cream definitely made a difference. Its a good one to have during a long flight or to use after one, since it does need a bit of time to do the job. The masks are a one time use, like all sheet masks and fairly easy to use, but I find doing one hand at a time more convenient.
