L’Occitane’s new launches this holiday season include two amazing, limited edition fragrances in collaboration with macaron guru Pierre Hermé - Pamplemousse Rhubarbe and Jasmin-Immortelle Neroli Eau de Toilette ($62 each; usa.loccitane.com). Both come packaged beautifully in their own boxes and make for gorgeous gifts that don’t even need to be wrapped.
Pamplemousse Rhubarbe Eau de Toilette is a citrusy, slightly sweet creation with prominent notes of Grapefruit and Rhubarb. Its light, crispy and very fresh and can be worn all through the year, especially if you don’t like very heavy scents. The longevity is average, but would last longer if layered with the matching body lotion. Jasmin-Immortelle Neroli is very floral, feminine and a very calming scent that is sure to be loved by most. It isn’t too heady for a floral with strong Jasmine notes and the Neroli adds a little softness to it. There’s also Pink Pepper and other citrusy notes in there, though Jasmine and Neroli is what I get the most. It lasts a good 7 hours on me before fading quite a bit. Overall, both great fragrances, beautiful bottles and perfect holiday gifts to check out from L'Occitane.
