Narciso Rodriguez For Her L’Absolu ($123 for 3.3oz; sephora.com; shop.nordstrom.com) , is the newest addition to the Narciso Rodriguez family of fragrances. The nose behind the fragrance is Aurelien Guichard and the fragrance is a floral musk composition, more floral than the previous launches. The notes include tuberose, jasmine absolute, musk, amber, sandalwood and patchouli to name a few.
The opening is quite heady and more intense than the other versions of NR for her, but the base is quite similar with the musk-amber lingering throughout and gets less intense through the dry down. L’Absolu is also more feminine and less patchouli heavy too, still a great fragrance pick for the fall and winter. The longevity is great on me, I can smell it all through the day with very minimal fading. The packaging is gorgeous, similar to the other Narciso Rodriguez fragrances and the scent is feminine, sophisticated and perfect for the cooler weather.
