Show Beauty Pure Treatment Oil ($78; sephora.com) is a luxurious elixir rich leave-in hair oil aimed at dry, lackluster hair. Its a slightly thick, rich oil to be used on both dry and damp hair. Show Beauty recommends it sparingly on damp hair when used as a styling treatment, and as an intense treatment when used on dry hair, wrapped with a towel for maximum benefits. I prefer using it on damp hair and since my hair is fine and frizzy, I only need a teeny tiny amount each time. The packaging is very luxurious and the weighty glass bottle sure is beautiful. The dropper does tend to dispense a little too much product though, so be sure to only squeeze a little each time since its a concentrated treatment that can weigh hair down if too much is used.
The scent is quite strong, but after blow drying, most of it fades. I also found that it helps cut down drying time quite a bit and the combination of various silicones and oils add a lot of shine and bounce, cutting out frizz. Like me, if your hair leans on the finer side, be sure to use a clarifying shampoo to avoid any kind of build up, like you would with any thicker oil or serum. That apart, I absolutely love it as a luxurious styling oil that can be used while air drying or blow drying.
