Kat Burki KB5 Eye Recovery Masks and Restorative Dual Acid Peel

Two new products from Kat Burki Skincare that I’m currently loving are the KB5 Eye Recovery Mask ($85; katburki.com) and the Restorative Dual Acid Peel ($125; katburki.com).

The KB5 Eye Mask is an under eye sheet mask, more like an eye patch that is supposed to refresh and tone the under eye area. It also helps with dimnishing dark circles, smoothen lines and decrease puffiness. Each box comes with eight applications and the masks smell really nice, mostly cucumber is what I get. They are quite easy to use and come soaked in a generous amount of serum, so I just massage the excess onto skin after a good 10-15 minutes. Its really nice, very refreshing and extremely cooling too which is fabulous after a long day.

The Restorative Dual Acid Peel is Glycolic Acid based and also has Hyaluronic Acid and Cold Pressed Avocado Oil among others to gently exfoliate and nourish skin without drying too much. I do have quite sensitive skin and I’d recommend this not more than once a week. The brush that comes along is great for application and also very effective at getting an even layer of product onto skin. To use, just apply a thin layer and wash off with a wash cloth or just with plain cold water and follow up with a serum or moisturizer. I’ve mostly used this at night and it can leave skin a bit sensitive, so a good sunscreen afterwards is needed if you do plan on using it before sun exposure. Overall, both great, very potent skincare from Kat Burki that I’d absolutely recommend trying out.

  1. Haven't tried any acid peels at home, this sounds promising!
