Jimmy Choo’s Illicit Eau de Parfum ($65; sephora.com) is a modern floral, with notes of Ginger, Bitter Orange, Rose and Jasmin Sambac in a Honey-Amber base. The opening is both spicy and zesty, a lot of the ginger comes through, with a whiff of the florals that kick in after a few minutes. Its the perfect balance of spice and sweetness, though the dry down is much more creamier than the opening, with a gourmand touch. The bottle is very beautiful, I absolutely love the design which is probably my favorite among all the Jimmy Choo launches so far. The longevity is great on a not so hot and humid day. Illicit is definitely more of a fall-winter scent that I would also wear well into spring!
