Malin + Goetz’ Facial Cleansing Oil ($42; malinandgoetz.com) is a one step makeup and skin cleanser that is formulated with a blend of different nourishing oils in a lightweight base. The packaging is quite practical and a little goes a very long way with this one. To use, I just take a couple of pumps and massage onto dry skin - it melts away even stubborn makeup pretty easily and washes off pretty well when emulsified with water. My preference though, is to use a warm washcloth to get rid of everything. It doesn’t leave behind any kind of an oily film, so depending upon how dry or not dry my skin feels, I usually follow up with a second cleanser. The scent is quite strong, though it doesn’t linger too much. Overall, a good, one step cleansing oil for combination and dry sin types that gets rid of most makeup and dirt and doesn't dry skin out.
