NARS' Hot Sand Collection is a limited edition spring summer collection with a few gorgeous pieces for eyes, cheeks and lips in shimmery, luminous peachy champagne hues. Its a five piece collection and two of my favorite pieces are the Hot Sand Illuminating Multiple ($39; narscosmetics.com) and the Hanamachi Kabuki Brush ($42; narscosmetics.com).
The Hot Sand Illuminating Multiple is a peachy champagne with very finely milled shimmer that translates to a beautiful sheen on the skin. It looks great on the cheek bones, as a wash all over the lids, cupid’s bow and anywhere else you’d aim to subtly highlight. It is quite a flattering color for most skin tones and flattering on medium/dark skin tones without tuning ashy. The texture is fairly easy to blend and the shimmer is almost undetectable on well primed skin. The Hanamachi Kabuki brush is perfect for buffing in powders, bronzers or sheer blushes. I absolutely love the short and stubby design and the soft bristles that make application a breeze. Its great at diffusing product seamlessly and is the perfect size to travel with too! I also tried buffing out the Hot Sand Illuminating Multiple and the end result was beautiful!
