Tocca’s newest creation is Emelia ($68; sephora.com), a very fresh green floral, with notes of Clementine, Fig Leaves, Loquat, Magnolia, Bison Grass, Praline, Ambrette Seed Absolute and Coocnut Water. The style is described as bohemian, vivacious and fresh. Emelia has a very vibrant, slightly zesty opening with mostly the coconut notes, fig and clementine coming through. Its quite a strong opening that isn’t heady, but takes a while to settle down. The floral notes come through only when the perfume starts to settle down, which is when I get most of the Magnolia. The dry down brings out a little bit of the Praline while the citrus notes still keep it soft and clean . Emelia is a very unique scent, even though it is a green floral and there's a ton out there, it definitely is unlike any others I've tried in that category. The longevity is pretty good and it is definitely one I'd wear only in the spring/summer months.
