A Very Burberry Face Of The Day

I’ve been using a lot of products from my Burberry stash recently and finding some old favorites that I'm loving again. Today’s FOTD features mostly Burberry with a few other staples thrown into the mix.

Face

Becca Backlight Priming Filter as a primer which makes my skin look like a nicer, glowy version of my skin, followed by Burberry’s BB Cream in Medium which is very sheer but dewy. YSL Touche Eclat in 5.5 under the eyes. Burberry Nude Powder in Ochre #20 to set things in place. I also used Burberry’s Blossom Blush and Laura Mercier’s Indiscretion Highlighter. I love how dewy the overall look turned out to be.

Eyes

Skipped primer, applied Burberry’s Eye Contour Pen in Dusky Mauve all over the eyes, blended the edges quickly since it sets super fast. Used MAC Teddy Eye Kohl on the upper lash line. I have a love-hate relationship with Teddy, but right now I’m hoping I can somehow use it at least. I used Burberry’s Effortless Blendable Eye Kohl in Jet Black on the waterline & lower lash line. Its super blendable, quite smudgy and very dark, so I love it. Completed the eyes by curling lashes and applying one coat of the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara which is pretty awesome for volume. I also used Burberry's Effortless Eyebrown Pen in Ebony, one of the best eyebrow products I've tried thus far!

Lips

I’m loving Burberry’s Lip Mist formula again (since the scent has considerably faded), even though they're no longer available. I used the Lip Mist in Pink Heather, topped off by Burberry’s First Kiss Glossy Balm in Rose Blush. Love this combo for a wearable daytime pink lip. Its perfect, not too pink and works for all skin tones.
