The Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel ($43; shop.nordstrom.com) is one of my favorite, gentle exfoliators at the moment. Its a creamy exfoliant that I leave on for about 15 minutes and wash off. It has a very slight fragrance and leaves skin super glowy and bright. Elemis recommends this for sensitive and mature complexions and I’d have to agree. My skin currently is combination-dry and leans on the sensitive side, so this is the perfect consistency that is also super quick and easy to use. It can be a tad drying sometimes, but nothing a good moisturizer can’t fix. It also makes my skin a tad sensitive so I almost, always use it in the night and follow up with sunscreen the next day, if I’m going to be out in the sun. Overall, its a really lovely, gentle exfoliant that is worth checking out if you want super smooth, plump skin without the irritation.
