The Beautiful Color Bold Liquid Lipstick ($22; elizabetharden.com) is a new launch from Elizabeth Arden, an ultra creamy liquid lipstick in nine gorgeous shades, part of the Liquid Assets Collection. They have the intensity of a lipstick and the plush, comfortable feel of a gloss. There's also a sponge tip applicator that dispenses product and the shape helps distribute product nicely. I quite like the applicator - it is very soft, helps with even application, but it can drink up a little product. The texture is more of a glossy balm, with lots of shine initially that wears out after a few hours. It is very pigmented and moisturizing too. Pink Lover is a lilac pink that is perfect even when sheered out as a soft pink. Passionate Peach is a warm pink peach that is perfect if you want a pop of color that isn’t too saturated, while Fiery Red is a pinky red that is rather pigmented and bright. Overall, its a great formula that doesn’t dry to a certain finish, but remains more like a very pigmented glossy balm, feeling very comfortable and wears really well through the day without fading too much.
