Shiseido Rouge Rouge Lipstick in Hushed Tones (RD 713) and Rose Crush (RD715)

The Rouge Rouge Lipstick ($25; sephora.com) is new from Shiseido, a full coverage, rich moisture lipstick with a super creamy texture and feel. Rouge Rouge comes in 16 shades in an opaque, pigment packed formula.

I tried two shades from the Rouge Rouge range - Hushed Tones (RD713), a pinky nude and  Rose Crush (RD715), a fabulous plum rose. The lipsticks are smooth, creamy and full coverage, evening out uneven pigmentation. It is very forgiving on dry lips and keeps them moisturized and comfortable without any heaviness. The color is quite long lasting too, for such a creamy lipstick and it does not move around too much even without a lip liner. Rose Crush is a lovely warm rose on me, while Hushed Tones is a nude pink that works with a stronger, smokey eye. Overall, I love the Rouge Rouge formula, just like most others from Shiseido, but this is probably their creamiest yet. The packaging is perfect - a sleek, slightly weighty magnetic case. If you are looking for a full coverage, non-drying lipstick in a very comfortable formula, Rouge Rouge is absolutely one to check out!
