AmorePacific Age Correcting Foundation Cushion SPF 25 ($80; shop.nordstrom.com) is a fairly new launch, a medium-full buildable coverage cushion compact foundation with skincare benefits. Its comes packaged in a luxurious gold compact, that also includes a refill.
The finish is quite dewy and perfect if you have dry aging skin that needs some luminosity. The compact comes in five shades, and 208 Medium is an almost perfect match for my skintone. The texture is nice and smooth, I like to use a buffing brush or a flat foundation brush to apply. The coverage is perfect if you don’t like anything that is very full coverage since it is buildable and conceals a good deal of pigmentation, shrinking pores without getting into fine lines. The formula feels firming and comes with skincare benefits, while providing a broad spectrum SPF of 25. I like to use a little dusting of powder on top to set it and it lasts all day on me without fading too much. Overall, its a lovely foundation for dry skin and quite forgiving on less than perfect skin if you can find your perfect shade from the five they offer. It also comes with a handy sponge which I would probably use for a touch up or two and a mirror inside.
