Madam C J Walker Beauty Culture is a great haircare brand and I’ve had great luck with most products I’ve tried so far. The Scent & Shine Oil line ($26 each; sephora.com) is a range of nourishing hair oils that can be used pre and post shampoo and helps moisturize, condition and leaves hair beautifully scented. The Jamaican Black Castor Oil is a thick oil that helps restore moisture balance to hair and scalp. I like this more as a pre-wash oil by itself or mixed in with other oils. Just leave it on for a few minutes and rinse off. The Scent and Shine Coconut Oil is a great frizz tamer and works great as a pre and post shampoo hair oil. I also like it on dry hair to tame flyways and add shine. The Brassica Seed Oil has a sweet caramel scent and is perfect as a pre style serum/oil on damp hair. The scent lingers on for a few hours and the oil itself has a nice consistency that absorbs quickly and adds a lot of bounce and shine without weighing hair down. Overall, a goreous line of luxurious hair oils for all hair types, especially fanastic for wavy hair leaning towards the curly side!
