Some very new to me brands and discoveries this past month, all under $30!

Honest Beauty Truly Restored Recovery Masque ($30; ulta.com) is a new hair mask that I’ve been recently trying out. Its a lovely hair mask for all hair types and good for after a clarifying shampoo since it has a thick, buttery consistency. I love the way it leaves my hair feeling and how very hydrating it is without weighing hair down.

Sebamed Everyday Shampoo ($14; sebamedusa.com) is a balancing everyday shampoo that I use once or twice a week. Its a no nonsense shampoo that cleanses without stripping and balances the scalp really well. Good for the winter since my scalp tends to get dry and slightly flaky with the lack of humidity.

Babytime Snuggly Lotion ($15; babytimeusa.com) is a nice, light body lotion for yourself or your baby. It has a mild fruity scent and is quite hydrating without feeling sticky. The scent doesn’t linger around. I’ve used this on myself and my son and absolutely love it. I do wish the packaging was a little more easy to use since there is quite a bit of product wastage each time, but overall,a very good lotion for all through the year.

The Color Therapy Nail Polishes ($7; target.com) are new from Sally Hansen. The formula is amazing and so are the shades. I had great luck with the consistency, texture and drying time of these polishes. Everything was fully opaque in two coats, wore really well for 3 days with minimal tip wear and the brush is fantastic!

Miracleware Muslin Washcloth ($12.99; miracleware.com) is a great baby brand that makes some fabulous muslin cloths. I use these for makeup removal and since they are super soft and get softer with each wash, they're gentle on baby’s skin too. I love how big the cloth is and how nicely it gets makeup off when used with a cleansing balm or oil. I love a good muslin cloth/washcloth for makeup removal and have a few nice brands lined up for a post soon, but if you love something that is soft and is a larger size, do try this brand out.

Avalon Organics Damage Control Shampoo ($8; Whole Foods) is a really lovely shampoo that I’ve been having on rotation. It is nice if you have dry hair or hair that goes through a lot of heat damage. It rinses well and a little goes a really long way with this one. I don’t wash my hair everyday, but if you do, be sure to use a clarifying shampoo in between a few washes since this is a moisturizing shampoo and can weigh hair down a little bit.

  1. True to my nature, I zeroed in on the nail polishes. Lol. I haven't seen them in my area but I will be keeping an eye out.
