Banc de Sable ($49; sephora.com) is a new Highlighter Palette for Spring/Summer from NARS. Its a gorgeous highlighting palette with three highlighters for the eyes and cheeks that can be used wet/dry The color payoff is buildable, as with most wet/dry textures, super creamy for powder products and very flattering as sheer washes. I like to use them dry since they are more forgiving that way and the shimmer is more natural looking than when used wet. On my eyes these work when used as sheer washes while on the cheeks they look great when swept on with a floppy brush. The colors are quite flattering on medium-dark skin tones and don’t look overly frosty when used with a light hand and the right brush. Overall, a beautiful palette and great for summer since these also work on the eyes as pretty neutrals.
