Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector ($36; sephora.com) is a mattifying, pore perfecting primer from Becca. Its a gel cream base that would work better in the warmer months or if you live somewhere humid. My skin leans pretty dry/combination this time of the year and I reach out to this one whenever I want a flawless base. It does have a bit of a silicone-y slip to it (even though it is silicone and fragrance free), if you like that kinda texture. As for me, while I do like luminous primers, this is one I would layer underneath if I am going to be out the whole day and if its a particularly hot and humid day since it holds makeup in place pretty well. If I am only using a lighter base, I’d go for something more nourishing and luminous. I would imagine this works nicer on oily skin types especially if oil-control is what you are looking for. I also like this one on problem spots like to shrink pores on my cheeks and forehead. Sephora does a travel size of ever-matte, so that’s a good way to try out before committing to the full size.
