A few fabulous beauty picks under $15 that I’ve recently discovered!
Treets Traditions’ Foaming Shower Gel ($15; ulta.com) - A shower gel that comes out as a foam and smells fantastic. A little goes a really long way with this one and I absolutely love how very non-striping and mild it is despite the strong scent and heavy foam. Its a great one to try if you like fresh fruity summer scents and good, foaming shower gels in general.
Renpure is a line of natural haircare and this thickening Coconut Bamboo ($7.99 each; target.com) line contains extra virgin coconut oil for nourishment. I think its a great line for thicker hair types since it is very hydrating. I do like it, but don’t tend to use on a regular basis since the shampoo and conditioner can leave a residue behind that helps heal dry hair but also needs a clarifying shampoo every few washes to balance it out. Still, a great line if you have thick hair or fine hair prone to a lot of flyaways.
EO Products’ Everyone 3-in-1- Lotion Unscented ($5.99; target.com) is an everyday fragrance- free lotion for face and body. So far, I’ve only used it on my body and quite like the soft, lightweight feel. Its a no-nonsense everyday lotion thats not too thick, yet manages to moisturize really well sans any scent.
The Extreme Long Lasting Eye Pencils ($2.99; ulta.com) and the Shine Shine Shine Lipglosses ($2.99; ulta.com) are two new launches from Essence. Essence is a great brand for quality, affordable makeup. I love the eyeliners - they are fantastic for the price and glide on super easily without any tugging. The colors are great, very unique and the formula is very long wearing and waterproof. The Shine Shine Shine Lip Glosses are slightly thicker and mildly sticky glosses. The colors are medium-sheer, the shimmery ones being slightly more on the sheer side. They are also very shiny and hydrating.
Adrenaline Crush, Cabernet With Bae and Orchid-ing Aside are all new from Sally Hansen’s Travel Stories collection. The Miracle Gels ($9.99 each; target.com) are great polishes, formula and texture wise. The brush is perfect to cover the nails in just a couple of strokes. The consistency was great and they all were completely opaque in a couple of thin coats. Adrenaline Crush is my favorite of the three!
