Sol de Janeiro is a line of gourmand scented bath and body care products. I’ve previously tried their Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, a firming, rich body butter and loved it. This time around I tried out two of their fairly new launches - the Brazilian 4 Play Moisturizing Shower Cream-Gel ($25; sephora.com) and the Brazilian Crush Body Fragrance Mist ($32; sephora.com). The Brazilian Crush Body Fragrance Mist is a very light mist with the same creamy coconut pistachio scent that can be used on hair and body. I’ve only used it on my body and think its a lovely mist for the warmer months especially when layered with the cream. It also tends to last longer that way than on its own. Its more of a very light mist that lingers on the skin and the scent doesn't change that very much. The longevity isn’t the best since its a body mist. The Brazilian 4 Play Moisturizing Shower Cream-Gel is a rich gel-cream that foams up pretty well and smells fantastic. A great one for just about anytime of the year and cleanses without stripping. The scent lingers around for quite sometime post shower and is great to layer underneath other Sol de Janeiro body care. If you love their signature scent, you’ll love both the shower gel and fragrance mist.
