Kypris’ Moonlight Catalyst ($77; shop.kyprisbeauty.com) is now part of my nighttime skincare routine and I use it about 2-3 days a week. Its a beautifully light, mildly scented nighttime serum, a gentler herbal alternative to retinoids that can be used alone, under moisturizer, or with other Kypris oils, in the night. Its very lightweight and recommend only in the night since it can leave skin feeling a tad more sensitive. I love the glass bottle and the dropper that dispenses the right amount for me, definitely no product wastage. I did find his one to be very brightening, sans any irritation or peeling, but did need a little extra moisture the next day since my skin felt just a tad more dry. I also love the glow I get the next day from using this. As someone with sensitive skin, I’d recommend this 2-3 times a week rather than everyday and to definitely follow up with a sunscreen the next day. I’ve been using this one for a few weeks now and have quite a lot of product left in the bottle, since a little goes a really long way. Overall, a great brightening/exfoliating serum for the nighttime and a nice alternative to retinols, yet quite potent and effective.
