Givenchy is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands for lip and eye products. Their Kohl Couture Waterproof Retractable Eyeliner in Black ($27; sephora.com) is a fantastic, basic black kohl in a creamy, twist up formula. I love the intensity of this one and how very smooth, smudgy, yet long wearing it is for both the lash and waterlines. I also have Chestnut in this one which is an interesting chocolate brown with fine shimmer. Black is a good basic black liner to have, but what makes it my most favorite formula is how it is easy to smudge and work with, yet sets to budge proof finish. I find that most eyeliners that stay put also set fast and are not forgiving to mistakes. This one does both & I’d highly recommend this!
