Recent Skincare Finds From Vichy, Kneipp, La Roche Posay and Eleni & Chris

Some new skincare discoveries, mostly face masks, a cleansing oil from a brand new to me and a great face cream for dry skin!

Recent Skincare Finds From Vichy, Kneipp, La Roche Posay and Eleni & Chris

The Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask ($20; ulta.com) is a quick and easy AHA peel for all skin types. Its a gentle peel and great for sensitive skin and is to be left on for about 5 minutes before washing off. I loved this one as a once/twice a week exfoliant and the subtle glow from it. It doesn’t dry out my skin too much which means I can use it well into the winter as well.

Eleni & Chris is a brand new to me and I recently tried out their Cleansing Oil ($34; eleniandchris.com). Its a luxurious cleansing oil for face and eyes. I would recommend a wash cloth with this one though since it isn’t one of those oil to milk types and can leave a slight film. It does contain fish oil and although I don’t detect any strong scent from the fish oil, I do find that it has a certain scent that can be bothersome. That apart, its a good one to have in rotation and is gentle enough on my dry-sensitive skin.

The Lady’s Mantle 24H Reactivation Face Cream ($30; kneipp.com) is a beautiful day cream from Kneipp. It has a gorgeous texture and is very moisturizing. The fragrance is great too and its perfect for dry skin, especially this time of the year. Quick absorbing and great under makeup too.

The Pore Purifying Clay Mask ($20; ulta.com) is one of the more moisturizing mud masks from Vichy. Its one to be left on for about 5 minutes and washed off. If you have a problem with clay based  masks drying your skin out, this is one I would recommend to get a deep clean.

The Hydraphase Intense Mask ($19.99; larocheposay.com) is a ten minute moisture mask for dry skin. Its a cream mask and very nourishing. I remove the excess with a washcloth after ten minutes or so. I sometimes apply a light layer of serum too after this, but if you have oily skin you could skip it. Its a good, quick moisture mask that takes only ten minutes and leaves skin feeling very comfortable  and balanced.
