I love a good body wash or lotion that doesn’t break the bank. Here are a few of those that I’ve been enjoying lately, some new and some new to me.
The Live Clean Bali Oil Body Wash and Body Lotion ($5.99 each; amazon.com) are both great for the price. The Body Wash is a gentle, non drying, foaming wash that does the job nicely. Live Clean do some good body washes and this is no exception. The Body Lotion is nice too, it does take a while to absorb, but it is nice to follow up after the body wash.
The Alba Botanica Hawaiian Hand & Body Lotion With Cocoa Butter ($10.50; Whole Foods)is a great body lotion for anyone with very dry skin. It sinks in fairly quickly and the scent is not too bothersome. The packaging is kinda messy since it is a runny lotion and would have been better off in a pump than a tube.
The European Wax Center Smooth + Refine Body Polish ($16; wax center.com) is a foamy body polish that cleanses and polishes in the shower. It has a scrubby base and feels great on the skin, washes off easily and smells amazing. If you want a shower gel and scrub in one this is one to look into.
COPPER+CRANE’s Exfoliating Body Gelee ($20; copperandcrane.com) is a body scrub in a gel base that exfoliates with the help of AHA’s combined with a little bit of physical exfoliation. Its a good body scrub for anyone with dryness issues. It leaves my skin sensitive because of the acids, so I prefer using it at night and following up with SPF later in the day if I'm out in the sun.
