Beauty Finds From New To Me Brands

A quick roundup of a few skin, body and haircare finds from new to me brands.

Beauty Finds From New To Me Brands

MD Complete is a really well formulated line of products for mature, dry skin. I started my trial with the Restoring Cleanser ($12.99; target.com) and Radiance Renewing Deep Moisturizer ($36.99; target.com), both of which I absolutely love. The cleanser is very gentle, non-stripping and a fabulous second cleanser, while the moisturizer is a great day and night moisturizer. I would definitely recommend this line for anyone looking for a basic, yet effective, no frills skincare line for drier skin types.

skinbetter Science is another new skincare find and the Refresh Hydration Boosting Cream ($80; skinbetter.com) is a great daytime moisturizer that also layers well under makeup. Its lightweight, quick absorbing and very gentle even on sensitive skin.

Copper+Crane Radiance Mask ($45; copperandcrane.com) is a lightly exfoliating, quick peel off mask. I found this to be brightening, fairly easy to use for a peel off mask and also quick (about 10 mins if you have sensitive skin). It did leave my skin feeling a tad dry at the end, but a good one for anyone with less sensitive skin than mine that needs some exfoliation and brightening,

Keranique’s Micro-Exfoliating Follicle Revitalizing Mask ($45; sephora.com) is a scalp exfoliator that can be used as a pre treatment before shampoo or as a conditioner. It is one that is to be massaged onto the scalp and left on for a few minutes. Its a good one if you have an oily scalp that needs some balance. I wouldn’t recommend it for more than once a week though since it can cause a bit of product build up overtime.

UpSpring is a brand that makes organic products for moms and babies and their 100% Pure Virgin Coconut Oil ($12.99; upspringbaby.com) is a fantastic one for dry skin. It comes packaged in a generous tub and I’ve been recently loving it as a body moisturizer on myself and my toddler. Even as someone with very dry skin, I have never tried coconut oil post shower because of the greasiness, but I am absolutely loving it this time of the year!
