The Ultimate Reset Collection is new from Shu Uemura Art Of Hair. Its a luxurious range formulated for dry, frizzy hair. Shu Uemura Art Of Hair makes some amazing haircare products and these were no exception. The Ultimate Reset Extreme Repair Shampoo ($48;shuuemuraartofhair-usa.com) is a thick, concentrated shampoo that cleanses without residue and leathers beautifully. Its a rich formula that would just need a light conditioner afterwards. I found the Ultimate Reset Extreme Repair Conditioner ($48; shuuemuraartofhair-usa.com) to be moderately thick, very detangling and smoothening. It washes off easily, does have a silicone-y slip to it but doesn’t weigh hair down too much. The Ultimate Reset Extreme Repair Treatment ($48; shuuemuraartofhair-usa.com) is an ultra hydrating, rich mask that I like to use after a clarifying shampoo. It leaves my hair feeling super soft and very shiny. Like with most hydrating haircare, I’d recommend a clarifying shampoo every few washes with the Ultimate Reset line, just to keep product buildup from happening. Overall, a fabulous, hydrating haircare line for anyone looking for a luxurious line to pamper and restore moisture back to hair.
