VICHY recently reformulated their Aqualia Thermal range and upgraded the formula of this best selling line featuring 97% Natural Origin, paraben-free ingredients. I tried out a few products from the line and here’s a quick review.
The Aqualia Thermal Water Gel ($31; vichyusa.com) is a super lightweight gel-cream that is perfect for the hot and humid summer months. The texture is quite lovely and great for anyone with combination skin or if you want a light layer in the summer. The Aqualia Thermal Rich Cream ($31; vichyusa.com) is a richer version that is like a slightly thicker cream with the same lightweight feel. I personally prefer the Rich Cream for my skin type since it is dry, leaning towards combination in the summer. Its quick absorbing, very rich yet not greasy and is a perfect base for makeup. The Aqualia Thermal Face Serum ($36; vichyusa.com) is a another everyday serum if you want a no-nonsense, well formulated serum that you can layer under pretty much every moisturizer. The products in this range are quite fragranced, and although I don’t mind it so much, it is something to keep in mind. I would recommend this range if you are looking for hydrating, light layering skincare and want to keep it simple on an everyday basis.
