Clinique Pep-Start Daily UV Protector SPF 50

Clinique’s Pep-Start Daily UV Protector SPF 50 ($23; sephora.com) has been one of my go-to sunscreens that I’ve been loving lately. Its a super lightweight, tinted physical sunscreen that I use on my face and neck. The tint blends in quite well with my medium-dark skin tone but does have a very light white cast. It is great under makeup, and leaves a bit of a dewy finish without altering the shade of my foundation or tinted moisturizers. I prefer physical sunscreens and this one is a great find for anyone with dry skin like mine, although if you have normal-oily skin or live somewhere humid, the dewyness is something to keep in mind. The packaging is really nice and while the sunscreen itself is almost like a thin lotion, it does spread easily and removes completely with a good oil based remover. Overall, a good fragrance-free option to try if you are on the lookout for a nicely formulated physical sunscreen for the face to wear by itself or under makeup.
